The barn cottage is a tastefully restored natural stone building providing cosy, comfortable self-catering holiday home accommodation. A tranquil river bank setting makes this an ideal retreat and central base to explore the scenic beauties of Donegal. The accommodation comprises 3 bedrooms with wooden floors and en-suite facilities (downstairs). The open plan kitchen, dining and living area (upstairs), has a large picture window overlooking Foxhall Wood and has been described by many as “the upside-down house”.
The upper floor of The Barn contains the living/dining area and kitchen. This strikingly furnished facility also offers compelling countryside views of Foxhall wood and the River Swilly from the large gable window there is an open fire in the corner and ample, comfortable seating, coffee table, side tables and television.
The dining area comprises a large dining room table with chairs. and an old fashioned dresser.
The kitchen has all modern conveniences with ample glasses, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.
