Set on the banks of the River Shannon in County Clare, Killaloe is a beautiful waterside village that’s truly worth visiting. The river cruises are one of the most popular things to do in Killaloe, Viewing Killaloe from the river is breath taking. There are a number of beautiful restaurants to choose from in this little village. Renting a bike to go on the Lough Derg cycleway is a popular choice, there are fabulous walks, drives and beaches to explore on your travels.

This lovely newly refurbished home, lovingly built and furnished by its owners who live in the house on the farm next door. It is a lovely bright, fresh home with very comfortable furnishings so you can really sit back and relax during your stay. It is a bungalow, so all rooms are on the same level. Although not adapted for wheelchair users, if needed, a wheelchair would be able to access all areas of the house. The living area is all open plan and encompasses the kitchen, dining and sitting room areas. The kitchen has everything you will need during your stay including dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine. There are a couple of seats at the counter which doubles as a breakfast bar. The dining area has seating for six people and offers wonderful views to the lake beyond. The sitting room is warm, inviting and cosy and has both TV and a welcoming wood burning stove (wood will be supplied for you).
