3 Bedrooms – Sleeps 5. This is a beautifully renovated traditional cottage located close to Recess Village and Maam Cross. Offering wonderful mountain and lake views and nearby access to mountain walks. Ideally suited to couples, families and friends looking for a relaxing Connemara getaway. The cottage promises a tranquil and peaceful stay while still allowing guests to easily explore the region. The well-known Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey, boat tours, kayaking, coasteering, hill-walking, pony trekking and many more activities and attractions are all within easy driving distance of the cottage. Fishing is available locally on Lough Inagh. The nearby village of Recess offers a grocery store, petrol station, craft shop, bar and church. Clifden and Oughterard are both a 20 minute drive and both towns offer a host of shops, bars, café’s, restaurants and services. Galway city is 40 minutes’ drive, and Cong and Ashford Castle are also 40 minutes’ drive from the cottage.

3 Bedrooms – Sleeps 5. Bedroom 1 is a double bedroom with wooden floors and wardrobe. Bedroom 2 offers a single bed, wooden floors, furniture and additional single guest bed if required. Bedroom 3 is a double bed with ensuite, completed with wooden floors and wardrobe. The living room boasts a floor to ceiling feature stone fireplace with open fire, wooden floors, multi-channel TV and comfortable suite of furniture. Just off the sitting room is a porch area and front door. There are chairs in this room and it can be a wonderful suntrap on a fine day. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary equipment and modern conveniences, including an electric cooker and hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and kettle. The kitchen also boasts a wood burning stove with feature stone fire place. The utility room houses the washing machine and dryer. The dining area is furnished with a dining table seating 5 persons. The fully tiled family bathroom includes a WC, hand basin, bath with overhead shower. A hair dryer is also provided. The gardens around the cottage are natural. The cottage is oil centrally heated throughout. Heating and electricity are included in the rental price. Cot is available. No Pets. No smoking. Garden furniture is provided.
