The Stonecutters Cottages sit atop Doonagore, a spectacular high point which has views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Aran Islands, the Burren and the music village of Doolin. It is situated on a quiet country road with nothing but gorse and fresh air. The cottages, in rows of four, have been lovingly restored and offer a “back in time ” experience but with all the modern conveniences, The Coral Cottage is our most recent renovation. We bought the cottage in 2019… just before the pandemic and restored (and extended it) to modern standards retaining its heritage. It was owned by a priest, Father Frawley who worked in Malawi and had the cottage as his holiday home when visiting family. The cottage has a lovely view down the valley to Liscannor Bay from the small extension that we added during the renovation.
