Bluebell Cottage is An Authentic Thatched Cottage in Kilmore Quay village in Co. Wexford. Our Cottage appeared on the first Ordinance Survey Map but was built certainly earlier with a few later changes. Bluebell Cottage was renovated by us but we have kept its original Cottage layout and style. Underfloor Heating keeps Bluebell very cozy indeed. Sleeps about 4 depending on your family.
We are Only a short walk to the Harbour where fish, fresh from the Sea, is landed most days supplying local restaurants and all over Ireland and World Wide.
We are Only a very short walk from the little Beach, local shops and Pubs/Restaurants and the famous Saltee Chipper. Beautiful Dune trails and Beach walks within walking distance too.

Kilmore Quay is a unique fishing village located in the Sunny South East. Our harbour is a working fishing harbour landing fresh fish supplying all our local pubs and restaurants as well as Countrywide and worldwide.
We have lots of beautiful local beaches and walking trails along the Dunes which are in an area of special conservation.
You can see the Saltee Islands from the Quay which are famous for nesting seabirds such as Puffins and Razorbills. There are daily (weather permitting / seasonal) trips to the islands by a local skipper.
You can see Hook Head Lighthouse on the horizon as you look out to sea and you can drive along the Hook Penninsula to experience the Oldest Lighthouse!
Wexford town is 20K approx and Rosslare is 20K approx
Bluebell Cottage is a Traditional Irish Thatched Cottage.
The main bedroom has a King size bed and is accessed through a mezzanine bedroom where there is a Double Bed.
We have a floor matress if there is an extra child and we also have a travel cot for infants.
We are located on the street in Kilmore Quay Village so keep this in mind if you have children staying. There are 2 steps from the porch to the kitchen and 2 steps up to the Sh/Wc. There is also a stairs up to the Bedrooms. No child gates.
We have a small enclosed barbecue/sitting area for guests to enjoy some outdoor cooking or a glass of wine on a sunny evening.
We have free parking for your car on site.
Kilmore Quay has award winning restaurants nearby yet we are an unspoiled village which oozes Thatched Cottage Charm and visitors come back year after year after year.
