About Me

A very warm welcome to our Little Heaven, the house of my two girls, my husband and myself. The place we call home.

We share this place for you to feel nature, to breathe in the beauty of the valley just as we do, and to find a slower, gentler rhythm of life.

In 2023, we took a leap of faith… selling our house in the Netherlands, letting go of our belongings, and packing our bags with nothing but a dream. We longed for a different way of living, somewhere remote, peaceful, and close to nature. A place where our children could grow up surrounded by the essentials: space, freedom, and simplicity.

We didn’t know exactly where it would be, but we trusted the journey. Two unforgettable years of full-time travel later, living out of suitcases, housesits and many km’s, fate led us to a hidden corner of Ireland, Glengarriff, and it felt like coming home (Although I always thought I would end up in some sort of tropical island. The Island part is correct. Tropical? Naaah…).

West Cork captured our hearts in ways we never expected. Perhaps it’s the warmth of the people, the old stories whispered by the hills, or the wild, unspoiled nature. Here, you can still find true silence, lose yourself in winding roads, and feel the magic of a place untouched by time.

We’d love to share this experience with you, and hope you’ll fall in love with this little piece of Ireland just as we have.
