It is the perfect place to escape into nature for a day, pack a picnic and spend entire days outdoors, exploring the trails, mountains and so many other points of interest – from Forests to Waterfalls to Abbeys to Historical Houses – Killarney has it all and it’s just waiting for you to explore it your way. Killarney is also one of the most popular bases to explore the Ring of Kerry, Dingle and indeed the lesser travelled Rings – like the Ring of Beara and the Skellig Ring. There is always some evening delight happening in Killarney, a foodies paradise and there’s always a buzz around so you can enjoy the nightlife as well as the daily life.

The Grove Cottage has been in my family since the late 1800s. It’s the place where my father Gerald O’Sullivan and his siblings grew up – he and his brother Ted O’Sullivan both played for Kerry in the 1950s. It was a little farming homestead just one mile outside Killarney town, now it seems as if Killarney town has grown out to meet it – there are footpaths and lights from the house all the way into town, so it makes for a lovely stroll on a night out. The house has the wonderful feeling of being in the country yet it is so accessible from town and all directions. Killarney always has a buzz about it so Spring/Summer/Autumn/Winter – it's always a great place to visit. I’ve been a Superhost on Airbnb for 6 years running and I pride myself in making sure guests are catered for whatever their needs.
