About Me
Dunmanus Cottage sits on a hill overlooking Dunmanus Bay and the Sheep’s Head Peninsula on the Wild Atlantic Way. The sunsets are spectacular as we sit on the patio. In winter we love the warmth of the stove and the banter in the local shops, markets and pubs.
West Cork is a vibrant community of creative people who make the best artisan cheese, bread, fresh vegetables, fish, pottery and so much more. The seawater is pristine with abundant marine life and sandy beaches.
My grand-aunt Doll built the property to retire from a life working in London. She wanted to retire to peace and tranquillity. It was our place for freedom and fun as children. We love the area, house, garden and want to share our bit of heaven with you.
